Spirit Tales Installation Guide

Downloading the Client:
    File Information:

     You will be required to download the game and install it onto your computer.  This can be done by two methods:
     A.   Pando Media Booster

     i. Pando Media Booster allows users to pause, stop and resume client download without having to lose any progress.
     ii. Pando Media Booster installs a download manager onto your computer and allows a Peer to Peer connection between Pando Media Booster users for maximum download speed.  
     iii. Pando Media Booster users will also allow upload of data from their computer.

     B.  Direct Download

     iv. Downloading directly will not allow you to pause or resume downloads
     v. Downloading directly will not require uploading of any data.

 

NOTES:To verify you have downloaded correctly, download WinMD5 from this address: http://www.winmd5.com/  and drag and drop your installer file into the first field to get your MD5 check sum value

Installing the Client
   a. Installing the Pando Media Booster
     i. Locate PMB file and double click.
          *Note - depending on your user permissions in windows, you may need to right click the icon and select ‘Run as Administrator'.
     ii. Select the ‘I Agree’ to agree to the PMB Terms and Conditions. 

       
     iii. Select the Location you wish to save the game client installer (Desktop by default) 

       
     iv. Begin Downloading the Game installer. At this time you can pause, stop, and resume as necessary.

       
 
  b. Installing Spirit Tales
     i. Locate the Spirit Tales installer application (filename: 'STOnline_US_20120308.exe') 
       
           *Note - depending on your user permissions in windows, you may need to right click the icon and select "Run as Administrator".
     ii. Follow the listed instructions.  Please select the ‘Accept’ option to agree to the KoramGame terms and conditions.  

       
     iii. Select the location you wish to install the game client. (Default: C:\Koramgame\STOnline)  

        
     iv. Follow remaining instructions listed.

Patching and Updating Game Client

Following content updates or bug fixes you will be required to download a patch or update to the game client.  This will be done automatically when you run Spirit Tales for the first time following an update.

  Updating automatically
   i. To patch with launcher, simply double click the Spirit Tales Shortcut on your desktop

       

   ii. In the Launcher you will see a progress bar.  When completed your game has been updated and you will be able to access the game

       

 

  Updating Manually
   i. To Manually Patch, you will be required to download files and apply them to your game installation
   ii. Download the latest patch files from this location: (Available Soon)
   iii. Run the executable file (.exe) to apply the most recent  update.
   vi. Run your launcher.
